Most people who study handgun bullet ballistics and tactics such as Jeff Cooper ("the father" of what is known as "the modern technique of the handgun") have concluded that, comparatively, handgun rounds are weak, and bullet-placement is a much more reliable fight-stopper than the round itself. Not to say that there aren't some advantages to one round over another, and in a fight the advantage should always be on your side.............just something to think about.....dave

YESTERDAY I PUT 300 MORE ROUNDS THUR MY REMINGTON R1 1911 ....VERY SMOOTH NO TROUBLES AT ALL .....USED 230 GRAIN RUSSIAN TULAMMO WORKS GREAT IN ALL MY 1911'S .....EVERY TIME I GO OUT AND SHOOT A 1911 NEW OR OLD I FEEL THE HISTORY..***LET'S GO SHOOTING******
