JOE LEGAL vs. JOSE ILLEGAL

I DO FEEL BAD FOR THE ILLEGAL PEOPLE WHO HAVE BEEN ESTABLISHED IN ANY STATE. MY QUESTION IS... IF THEY WANTED TO "LIVE" HERE, THEN WHY DIDN'THEY BECOME CITIZENS? IS IT BECAUSE THEN THEY WOULD HAVE TO PAY FOR THE BENEFITS, PAY TAXES AND ALL THE OTHER FREE BEES?
